Avengers Movie Cast Assemble!

At SDCC, Marvel finally announces the complete cast of The Avengers movie, to be directed by Joss Whedon.

(L-R) Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Clark Gregg, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Director Joss Whedon, Producer and Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige.

Not too sold on Ruffalo because, well, this isn’t a chick flick, but this cast is amazing. What do you think?

I'm sad that Ed Norton diva'd himself out of The Avengers but I think Mark Ruffalo can pull it off. He has a lot of indie cred and can melt into any role he's given.

Mark Ruffalo as Banner is not the biggest concern for me. It's the fact that Human Torch is also Captain America that gets to me. What a friggin' joke! Ryan McPartlin would have been awesome for the role. Hell, they could have even casted Vern Troyer! The part is wasted on Evans! I liked him as Torch. A lot! But as Cap? Not sold.
