So I have my comic book stash for the week ready, but I just can’t do my reviews just yet. Too lazy. So instead of making some half-assed review that’ll probably incite some nerd rage, let me just plug this event for you instead:

Yeah, Black Market EX. Personally, I’m not a toy collector (not that I don’t want to be one, but it’s an expensive hobby and I might have to let go of a girl or two from my harem because of the expenses) but I could see by now that it’s going to be pretty freaking sweet.

The Black Market EX, a Pre-Christmas flea market for hobbyists, gamers, collectors and pop culture enthusiasts will open its doors to the public on November 14, 2009 at Makati’s newest lifestyle center, the .A.Venue Events Hall.

The flea market aims to feature over 80 toy, hobby, gaming and collectible shops in 1,500 square meters of air-conditioned space. Shoppers can expect a good mix of toys, games, comics, airsoft, DVDs and various other hobbies.

Added highlights to the Black Market EX include a gaming area for videogames, tabletop & card games, displays of collectibles, and various promos and contests.

Also, admission is 20 pesos. Guys. 20 bucks. How could you not love that? So seriously, let’s go. RJ, Fiel, where’s the time machine? Set it to November 14, 2009.
