About last week’s stash.. I err, uhm… I BLAME SMARTBRO!

Now that that’s been cleared up, on to more important matters.

Blue Beetle #19:
This is part of last week’s stash, but I just realized that this is currently my favorite title. I think Jaime and Traci makes a good couple; and with Brenda around, tenenen! A love triangle! Sweet. He learns the value of pressure points, especially when fighting magic giant girls. I can’t wait for the Sinestro Corps tie-in next issue!

Countdown 30:
I enjoyed this week’s countdown much thanks to the Jokester. I hope he sticks around for the rest of the series, that way Jason Todd can actually have a reason to be angsty all the time. Well, at least they’re going to *interesting* earths now, here’s hoping that they end up in gender-switch earth next week!

Countdown 32:

First of all, Stargirl isn’t in this issue. Why must you lie to me DC? Why!?

Nothing much in this issue. Piper and Trickster escape Hassan(Zatanna’s Mummy aka guard) and was let loose on Canary’s Bachelorette party. Bob and co. are still lost out there somewhere, and Mary Marvel finally met Eclipso. Meh, I hate how Zatanna’s being portrayed in Countdown -.-

Oh, Paris and Nicole tried to drink Lady Blackhawk’s Pomegranate Margarita.

btw, Anyone else noticed this?

Is that a THINIP or Marvel’s copyrighted THWIP? Hmmmm…

On to more important matters: Fanservice!

Ok, let’s start with comics that I didn’t buy: Amazons Attack #6 and Wonder Woman #12(I won’t even bother reviewing this one)

Amazons Attack #6:
Here’s a little recap of the stupidity:

CLASH! Everyone’s fighting, and Hyppolita and Diana had a stereotypical Mother-Daughter fight.

Guess what? She didn’t kill her! SHOCKING!

And now the villain is pissed.

lol, Batman.

Here comes Athena to save the day!

Didn’t see that coming!

And so this shitty arc is finally over, along with 90% Wonder Woman’s supporting characters, great job DC!

BUT WAIT! THERE’S A TWIST!

Ohoho! Who’s the sinister villain that did all of this?

Thank God I stopped buying this after the first two issues.

Nothing much, they’re still stuck at the mansion with the unknown killer, with luck, The Squire might demonstrate British badassery on the next issue.

Batma-Lobo #1:
I’m a sucker for anything that has Lobo in it, coz Lobo makes anything awesome. As usual, the main man doesn’t disappoint his fans!

There might be some fetish issues with the writer.

6 days delayed! I broke my record wooo! I’ve been Defendig the Ancients non-stop for the past 4 days, and have done NOTHING remotely productive. Go me!

Amazons Attack #5:

This is actually a decent read compared to the first four issues. Still not worth your money though good thing I only downloaded it. Batman was there to save the day(as usual), heremoved the magical shield and unleashed the JLA and JSA on the Amazons and the Bana. I’m just glad this shitty arc’s finally ending.

Black Canary #4(of 4):

Can this be any easier to predict? Everything came true! Faking Sin’s death, Mia helping Sin to escape, then taking her to Connor to hide, even Canary’s answer to Ollie’s proposal. Oh well, at least I saw a pissed of Black Canary going crazy on those assassins.

This week’s batch of comics are great, JLU #12, The Brave and the Bold #6, Countdown #37, hell Amazons Attack #5(though I didn’t buy it) was actually good this week.

But I’ll blog about them tomorrow maybe, for now I’ll only talk about The Flash and Booster Gold. They deserve their own post for making me all giggly inside.
