If there’s one comic book movie geeks everywhere are looking forward to seeing, it definitely is The Dark Knight Rises. The final part of the Chris Nolan Batman film trilogy, Batman (Christian Bale) will face off against Bane (Tom Hardy) and possibly Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) as Catwoman. There are also rumors of a young Ra’s Al-Ghul, Talia Al-Ghul, and a Lazarus Pit in the film.
And now, Twitter user @simps just tweeted the teaser poster of this much-anticipated film.
Holy. Fucking. Shit. That is all I can say.
Two New Porn Parodies: Katwoman and Pron
by Ade Magnaye on Apr.26, 2011, under DC, Movies, News
It looks like Comicgasm is really trying to live up to the “orgasm” part of our name. We’re getting all sorts of emails about porn parodies of comic books being made. We don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing. (Just kidding, it’s a good thing. Keep the porn coming, guys).
So first up is Katwoman from Bluebird Films. Here’s a synopsis:
Bluebird Films has begun their 2011 U.S. shooting schedule, commencing with Katwoman, the studio’s much-anticipated follow-up to 2010’s award-winning Batfxxx. Dylan Ryder stars as the sexy feline who takes on the twisted Jo-Kerr and his pretty pet Jokette. Studio owner Paul Chaplin reprises his role as The Jo-Kerr with gorgeous Glambird Gemma Massey joining the cast as the villain’s insane enamorata.
Who is this Gemma Massey? Here’s a trailer:
R.I.P. Michael Gough (1916-2011)
by Ade Magnaye on Mar.18, 2011, under Movies, News
We all know what kind of horrible abortions of cinema the original Batman movie franchise turned out when Joel Schumacher took over the series. But Batman Forever and Batman & Robin weren’t all that bad though – if there was one bright spot in those horrible excuses to sell gaudy toys, it’s Michael Gough’s portrayal of Batman’s ever-loyal butler, Alfred Pennyworth.

I’m afraid I’m not familiar with Michael Gough’s other works, but he remains to be one of my favorite interpretations of Alfred. Sure, he may not be as awesome as Michael Caine’s version, but for a guy to come out of the two horrible Schumacher Batman movies and come out dignified is an amazing feat by itself.
Good night, sweet prince. You will be missed.
RIP Dwayne McDuffie
by RJ on Feb.23, 2011, under News, Real Life stuff
Dwayne McDuffie was an awesome man. The DCAU won’t be the same without him. I loved his work on JL/JLU, I loved all of his animated works. Hell, I watched Ben 10: Alien Force when I found out that he’s involved in it. But most of all, I loved how in touch he is with the comic book community.
RIP, Maestro. You will be missed.

Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy for the Spider-Man Reboot!
by Ade Magnaye on Dec.06, 2010, under Marvel, Movies, News
Remember when everybody went crazy when Emma Stone was announced as Gwen Stacy for the new Spider-Man movie? Yeah, I remember that. People were saying that she was more of a Mary Jane Parker than a Gwen. I dunno, honestly. I was just glad that they’re going to do justice to Peter Parker’s first (and dead) girlfriend in the new Spider-Man series. Remember Gwen Stacy from Spider-Man 3 and how it totally felt like a cameo? Yeah. Anyway, Emma Stone’s a natural blonde, but everyone’s seen her as a redhead since like forever. I guess this is why people wanted her cast as MJ. If you want to see how Emma Stone looks like now that she’s preparing for her role as Gwen Stacy, check out the picture after the jump!
