Hi guys. This is Ade here, reporting for Comicgasm. We just want you guys to know that we’re alive and all despite Ondoy, even after a few white-knuckle hours because our intrepid writer Fiel went MIA (he’s ok, FYI).
Anyway. I’m reporting that I survived Ondoy unscathed, with no property damage whatsoever. However, I can’t say the same for some of our countrymen.

More pics here (graphic content warning).
Even people from the comic book community weren’t spared from Ondoy.
We’re warm cozy and all, but people need help, you guys.

You can donate to the Philippine Red Cross through SMS: text RED[space]AMOUNT to 2899 (Globe) or 4483 (Smart)
TXTPower is also accepting donations for Ondoy typhoon victims via SmartMoney 5577514418667103, GCash 09179751092 and Paypal.
Tulong Bayan hot lines for donations and volunteers are 09086579998, 9137122, 9136254, and 9133306. Drop-off points are at Expo Centro in Cubao in Quezon City and White Space at 2314 Pasong Tamo Extension in Makati.
Sour Politics has a comprehensive list of Emergency Hotlines and whatnot.
MLQ3 posted more ways to help on his Tumblr. Read up.
Even Google has pitched in.
RJ and I would like to say kudos to Jam 88.3 for their AM Radio-like coverage of the storm.
Read up Comicology’s Be A Hero.

UPDATE: You can also donate via this ChipIn widget:
A few friends of mine cobbled up this site together so that people can chip in via PayPal and speed up the donation process.
I assure you that the site is legit; I along with my fellow bloggers can vouch for the guy who made it (Mike Villar of http://mikevillar.com)
All proceeds will go to the Philippine National Red Cross. Donations can be sent via Paypal or credit card. Please help spread the word.
I hope all our MIA friends turn up soon, regaling us with awesome stories of them fighting the floods and surviving unscathed.
Stay safe everyone.
