Ade here, taking a break from reformatting my PC to bring you this week’s most delayed reviews!

Amazing Spider-Man #611

See how much a comic improves once it forgets about the Clone Saga?

So. Deadpool. Written by Joe Kelly. Art by Eric Canete. Oh, lordy. This issue was comedy gold from page one up until the end. It’s got a bunch of gags ranging from references to Blackest Night, a guest appearance from Geoff Johns himself, a bunch of hookers dressed up as the women of X-Men, an epic battle with, um, Lady Stilt-Man, and Spider-Man and Deadpool’s internal monologues competing with each other.

But my favorite part in this issue would be the epic Yo Mama battle in the end.

God, I can only wish ASM were like this every week.

Batman #693

Goddammit, what the fuck is going on in this issue I don’t get it ohgod this is so fucking boring what the heck is this what Riddler is evil again why is that even necessary why is Dick Grayson’s character no different from Bruce Wayne’s he’s even a detective ohgod wtf is this I think I’ll hang myself later if I don’t fall asleep firs- zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Batman and Robin #6

I know Philip Tan’s been taking a lot of flack for his art on Grant Morrison’s Batman and Robin, and I think it’s mostly unfair. I mean, he’s no John Romita, but the guy’s doing art duties after Frank Quitely. There’s absolutely no way you can beat the first 3 issues of B&R.

Know what I loved about B&R #6? Jason Todd.

He’s fucking badass.

Green Lantern Corps #42

Okay, I’m currently reading this issue as I’m writing this, and wow, there’s a lot going on. I’m taking my time to take it all in and-

HOLY FUCK WHAT WAS THAT LAST PAGE ABOUT?

FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!
