I pretty much ignored this mini-series until someone forced me to read it last week after issue #4 came out. I bought the set today, coz I’d feel guilty blogging about awesome books and not owning a copy(unlike Amazons Attack). Words fail to describe how awesome the Silver Surfer is in this mini-series, so even though bombarding you with screenshots would not do justice, I’ll do it anyway.

The Surfer comes to the Fantastic Four for help, but even Dr. Richards, Dr. Strange nor any of Earth’s brilliant minds and sorccerers are not enough to aid the Surfer.

He then does a number of godly acts during his last moments on earth, such as sharing a tiny bit of his cosmic powarz with MJ for her Birthday, and with Spidey’s request: The World.

He then set course to his home world, Zenn-La.

On his way, he stopped a war between two planets that have been raging for generations.

He arrived on Zenn-La on his weakened state, with beings from all over coming to visit and to pay respect to their savior.

Even the mighty Galactus was unable to save him. (note: you should be crying when you reach this part)

5mins of World Peace, a history of before and after he came to earth, cosmic guidance, people receiving ‘gifts’ by merely touching him…

Silver Surfer is the new Jesus! The new SPACE JESUS!
