Avengers Teaser Trailer Leaked! Quick, Watch it While it’s Hot!

So. After the amazing Thor trailer was leaked the other week, we now have the SDCC 2010 teaser trailer for the upcoming Josh Whedon film The Avengers out as well.
There isn’t really a lot i n it. In fact, if you were expecting a lot, you’d be disappointed. It’s just Nick Fury (played by Samuel L. Jackson) narrating while we watch The Avengers logo (created by Ahmet Ahmet and Peter Frankfurt of Imaginary Forces) being formed.

Okay, it’s not exactly awesome, but it ain’t bad, especially for a film that hasn’t even begun production yet.
The Avengers is going to be directed by Joss Whedon and will star Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Clark Gregg, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner.
Avengers Re-Assemble?

I know you people have been holding your breath for the longest time for this, but those looking for a grand reunion of the Avengers might see what they’re looking for in Marvel’s new four-issue event, called The Siege.
Written by Brian Michael Bendis and art by Olivier Coipel, The Siege spells the end of Norman Osborn’s Dark Reign. According to Bendis, the reunion of the big three (Iron Man, Captain America and Thor) is very instrumental to the end of Dark Reign. It’s a “seismic shift in the Avengers books” akin to that of Avengers Disassembled. (continue reading…)
