Finally – the trailer for the much-anticipated Avengers movie is out! And it looks absolutely amazing. Don’t take my word for it, watch it yourself!

Oh god, so many awesome moments. My favorite, of course, was Steve Rogers and Tony Stark snarking at each other. Will this movie be awesome or will it be awesome?

The Avengers is directed by Joss Whedon and starring Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow, Chris Evans as Captain America, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Cobie Smulders (HNNNGGH) as Maria Hill, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner.

So. After the amazing Thor trailer was leaked the other week, we now have the SDCC 2010 teaser trailer for the upcoming Josh Whedon film The Avengers out as well.

There isn’t really a lot i n it. In fact, if you were expecting a lot, you’d be disappointed. It’s just Nick Fury (played by Samuel L. Jackson) narrating while we watch The Avengers logo (created by Ahmet Ahmet and Peter Frankfurt of Imaginary Forces) being formed.

Okay, it’s not exactly awesome, but it ain’t bad, especially for a film that hasn’t even begun production yet.

The Avengers is going to be directed by Joss Whedon and will star Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Clark Gregg, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner.

At SDCC, Marvel finally announces the complete cast of The Avengers movie, to be directed by Joss Whedon.

Not too sold on Ruffalo because, well, this isn’t a chick flick, but this cast is amazing. What do you think?

So yesterday, we had concept art of Chris Evans as Captain America. I’m not too happy with the designs, but whatever keeps him from looking silly when put next to Iron Man in the eventual Avengers movie, right?

So now, images of concept art of Chris Hemsworth as Thor in his upcoming movie has also leaked. We can’t be too sure if this is official, but the similarity of the art style to the Captain America mockups are pretty striking. Check out the new Chris Hemsworth as Thor pictures after the jump! I don’t know what else to say. The costume, which resembles the Coipel-designed version (the version that I love, BTW), is almost perfect. Now I need to see the helmet and Mjolnir. Not too crazy about the beard though. Reminds me too much of Thunderstrike. But still, costume-wise, the Thor movie seems to be chugging along just fiiiiine.

Also, RJ and the gang are probably watching Iron Man 2 right now aaaand I’m home stuck writing shit on the internet FFFFFFFUUUUUUU
