I have a feeling that the upcoming and eagerly anticipated Thor film will suck, or at its best will be an inoffensive comic book adaptation packaged in a summer movie, but it’s not stopping me from getting excited by all the Thor news coming my way. Here’s the new trailer of the movie, and I like it so far, even though I can see all the bad reviews coming a mile away.

It definitely is no Iron Man, but I’m hoping it won’t end up in Ghost Rider territory. What do you think?

Remember when everybody went crazy when Emma Stone was announced as Gwen Stacy for the new Spider-Man movie? Yeah, I remember that. People were saying that she was more of a Mary Jane Parker than a Gwen. I dunno, honestly. I was just glad that they’re going to do justice to Peter Parker’s first (and dead) girlfriend in the new Spider-Man series. Remember Gwen Stacy from Spider-Man 3 and how it totally felt like a cameo? Yeah. Anyway, Emma Stone’s a natural blonde, but everyone’s seen her as a redhead since like forever. Okay, I was going to write about the incredibly stupid publicity photos from the Spider-Man musical featuring music by Bono, Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark (come to think of it, the title is also incredibly retarded) but I just realized that there’s a better piece of news that just came out, and this is probably something we all can agree on to be incredibly awesome. That Spider-Man play will have to wait. You see, the first trailer for the upcoming Green Lantern movie starring Ryan Reynolds is out! I’ve been a huge GL fan since Sinestro Corps War, and seeing one of my favorite comic book characters will be on the big screen soon is a huge deal, really.
