Hey kiddies, this uber uber late entry is all about me whining about the DC teams.

Firstly, Teen Titans!

Nothing really new. Same teen angst, same teen drama. Wonder Girl is still emo, somehow keeping the team from killing themselves with their wacky shenanigans. I’m really amused with Aquagirl openly hitting on Blue Beetle, I sense a catfight with Traci in the near future(YES PLZ). She also replaced Rose as the casually naked chick.

Except she’s not really naked. Yet. Bombshell is becoming a likable character now that she got rid of all that sand in her vagina, M’gann is still the adorable naive alien chick we all know and love. Her first DDR game with Static was so adorable. Oh, and midriffs. TT is all about midriffs.

I like how they co-featured Rose’s snowy adventures, hopefully she returns to the team soon coz the new casually naked chick isn’t doing her job! >:E

With Bart and Conner back, I have high hopes in this book. Can’t wait for Adventure Comics #1(by Geoff Johns!) to come out next week!

Next, we have the Justice Society of America!

Man, I miss Johns already. That man is all over the place, and for good reason! But enough about him, Fiel might get jealous. Anyway, Willingham’s run started with a clash. A huge one. The entire team gets ambushed and overpowered save for the 2 new recruits. One of them, under someone’s control, repeatedly stabs Mr. Terrific’s back(literally).

Nothing more can be said, the JSA pretty much got their asses handed to them and we have to wait for the next issue to find out if they survive. A pretty solid start, it got me wishing it was next month already.

Oh, and Stargirl doesn’t know that Obsidian is gay. Teehee.

And finally, the Justice League of America!

I can’t even begin to think how the new writer feels right now. Thanks to the clusterfuck that was McDuffie’s run(not his fault btw), the Justice League’s numbers and strength has dropped considerably.

JLA checklist:

Superman – busy with new Krypton
Wonder Woman – busy with Themyscira
Batman – DEEEAAAD
Flash(wally) – busy with Keystone/Central city and Barry’s return
Hal Jordan – formed his own team
John Stewart – I don’t know, ask Fiel
Green Arrow(ollie) – Ollie is a bro and sided with Hal
Black Canary – pissed off at Ollie, resigned as Chairwoman
Red Arrow – quit because he broke up with Hawkgirl or something
Hawkman – dead again
Hawkgirl – dead, not dead then dead again
Black Lightning – left to join the Outsiders
J’onn J’onzz – dead
Zatanna – reserve member

And now.. the JLA consists of Vixen and Firestorm. Right.

Wein managed to dig up Dr. Light from the last arc and somehow, Red Tornado as temporary members. The fifth, as the cover implied is our favorite strechy guy, Plasticman(YAYZ).

Wein’s run is a 3-issue filler, but Mcduffie was laid off before he could return :(. So after 2 more issues, let’s hope whoever takes over will fix this mess. Sources(read: 4chan) say that Dick Grayson, Mon-El and Donna Troy will be in the new league to fill-in for the trinity. I can’t wait!

PS. I’ve been wanting to make this post for the past 4 days, and all it took was my brother knocking out the router for me to start writing. -_-
